Introduction
As the prevalence of ADHD is increasing year after year throughout the world,
the projected quantity of Adult ADHD is 2.8 percent (ADDItude ,2021). Our team
decided to develop an application that will assist those who are dealing with the
challenges of having this neurodevelopmental disorder .
Our primary goal for this application is to provide our users with the benefits of
having their life’s organised and focus on their daily goals like this, feeling more
energised, having a better rest and a calm sleep, and having better attention to the
task in hand while using it.
Despite the fact that our program is geared towards those with ADHD, ou
services will be beneficial to everyone looking to establish good behaviours.

Features
After doing some research about ADHD and the characteristics of the people
that have this mental disorder we could point some issues that they have and we will
help them through our application, such as not being able to be focus in a task for to
long, they procrastinate a lot, they have problems prioritizing things and they tend to
hyperfocusing on some tasks. To help them with this our application will have the
following features:
Cloud service Data will be kept in a Cloud Service.
The user will be able to insert how they are feeling on that day and at the end
of the month they can track how they felt throughout the month.
They can set a timer to keep them focused on the task they need to complete.
They can make a list of activities they would like to do throughout the month
and check daily if they succeeded or not.
They can add meetings and important tasks they need to do in the day.
They can insert things they want to buy or do and use it as an incentive to
complete those tasks, so they can unlock it and get it as a gift for doing it.

Needs analysis
Individuals with ADHD, tend to have a lower response to neurocognitive tasks
(Barkley & Associates, 2017), thinking about that we started developing an
application that will help this people to conclude their daily tasks, help them focus fo
a certain amount of time on their work or studies and set some goals on their lives,
that they would like to be achieved in a daily/monthly bases.
This project will focus on tracking the user's behaviour and help them keep
their goals and their focus, so they can complete tasks and try to get some balance
etween their feelings and their must do activities, without making it as something
oring and an obligation.
Target Market
The target market for this project are adults between, 21 years old and 45
years old, that are diagnosed with ADHD, they have issues focusing on daily
activities, they get distracted easily, have problems prioritising tasks, forgetting to
finish and even starting them (Mayo Clinic, XXXXXXXXXXThey are creative people, so they
usually are with their phones or tablets in hand, so they can have easy and quick
access to the application and add activities or set up a focus timer, to complete thei
chores.

Technology in Brief
For this project we are going to develop a mobile application and there are
some platforms that will help us to build it, they are:
Flutte
Flutter is an open source software developer, it was released by
Google in 2017, it allows the user to develop an application for both Android and
IOS, it’s a flexible and expressive way to create UI (Flutter, XXXXXXXXXXThis platform uses
Dart language to build the applications.
React Native
React Native is an open source platform that allows the user to build an
application for several platforms at the same time.
React is a flexible and efficient way to develop a nice UI, creating like this a good UX
to our potential users. This is becoming a popular tool to develop apps and can
count with periodical updates. It allows us to develop an application, either to an
Android or to an IOS. We can use javascript to create an application for both
platforms. Since September 201 5 the cross-platform framework React Native,
created by Facebook, has been available for public use (React Native, 2021).
We have in the market three main different types of operating systems for mobiles.
IOS
IOS systems are developed by Apple consequently, they are used exclusively
in their devices. They are cu
ently the second most used operating system. They
have an easy to use interface and because they are just used in their own devices,
Apple users usually don’t have problems upgrading their mobile phones. For an
application to be put in the Apple store, the company needs to approve it previously
and guarantee that they are secure and don’t have code problems.
Android
Android systems are still the most used in the world, therefore, their app store
has way more options of applications, there are different mobile manufacturers that
use Android as their operating system, that gives the user more options to choose
from devices (Simon Lee, XXXXXXXXXXAndroid applications are not restricted to just one
platform, giving users more options to find the one that is going to satisfy the user’s
needs. The Android system is developed by Google.

Firebase database
It’s developed by google in 2014, it’s a real time cloud database that
can be used in IOS, Android and web, to store the users and developers
information. It can be used even when offline and as soon as it is reconnected
the synchronization is reestablished and the user won’t lose any changes.

Economic Study
Market Research
Flora: It allows the user to grow a tree, while they set a timer to focus on the
task in hand and if the application is shut, the three die and if the user keeps
achieving their goals, some new trees are unlocked.
Thought Diary: It helps the user to track their thoughts and activities, basic
features of the application are just unlocked if you have an annual plan.
Routinary: It presents a basic version of the Flora application, you can grow
trees, while the timer is up and you can unlock new trees when you achieve
those goals.
ADHD Test: It’s an application that presents a test that will help you
understand if you have ADHD.

Communication Plan
The group's primary means of communication is social platforms and video calls
(example, facebook and canvas), since we have some problems with lockdowns and
distance.
The group has been using Notion platform, to keep technical studies, research
papers that we will require, as well as Web bookmarks and PDFs as backups and as a
storage medium. We can share to do lists and mark or delete the topics that were completed
or are more important, leave each other notes and reminders. We will also use emails and
Github as important ways of communication.
