activities are influencing the efficiency as well as productivity of the users and corporations

terrorism activities, roles and responses of law enforcement in the context of cyber or digital 
crime would be discussed effectively. At the same time, criminology of computer crime, types of 
digital criminals and hackers, process in the investigation of computer crime, technologies and 
processes in digital forensics & potential movements in digital offense and violence would also 
be presented in order to fully achieve stated outcomes of this research paper. 
Digital Crime and Terrorism Activities
In today’s computerized era, digital crimes are considered as illegal activities of crime 
with the help of technological tools such as:  internet. On the other hand, digital crime can also 
be defined as unauthorized access, modification and impairment of a digital system (Pearson & 
Watson, 2010). In the same manner, digital crimes are the crimes that include a computer as well 
as a network. It means the illegal use of computer or internet is known as digital crime. Cyber 
crimes are offenses that are dedicated against individuals as well as groups for a criminal motive.  
The main intention of the criminal is to harm the reputation of the victim and also physical or 
mental harm to the victim directly or indirectly with the use of modern telecommunication 
networks such as: Internet and mobile phones.

accessibility of computer data and systems. For instance, malicious code, denial of service, spam, 
phishing, etc. are the some example of digital crime. This type of crime threats a nation’s 
security and financial health also (Li & Ho, 2011). Along with this, both and non-state players 
connect in cyber crimes. It also increases spying, economic theft and other cross-border crimes at 
the global level. Additionally, the international legal system is trying to seize performer 
accountable for their actions through the International Criminal Court. 
Digital Terrorism Activities: Computers are becoming an important part of terrorist 
activity. For instance, the use of internet is increasing day by day in terrorist activities such as: 
perform of intentional, large-scale interruption of computer networks and personal computers 
attached to the internet in order to perform these activities. Computer virus is the most important 
example of the terrorism activities (Gogolin, 2013). In addition to this, digital terrorism activities 
also defined as the intentional use of computer, networks and public internet in order to 
devastation and damage for personal objectives. 
In addition, terrorism activities involve data interference, interception, hacking, 
unauthorized or illegal access, system interference, cyber-stalking and attacks to critical
