We perform subnetting on a given network address i.e. 199.90.148.0/24 which require subnetted into 16 subnets and provide following information for subnets #1, #3, #15, and #16.
· Network address
· Subnet Mask
· Range of IP Addresses available
· Broadcast Address
· The number of subnets that you will be able to get
· The number of hosts that each subnet will be able to have
Given network configured with class less IPv4 i.e. 199.90.148.0/24 address where 24 is network bits.
To find host bits-
Host bits = 32-network bits
= 32-24
Host bits = 8
Though
    199

Now to make 16subnet we choose 4 bits from host part that result 24 = 16 subnets. Subnetted structure of given network is depicted below.
