The aim of this report was to investigate the ways of promoting student independence through peer-to-peer learning. A survey of students from each college was conducted in first semester of the academic year. Overall, the results indicate that peer to peer learning cooperative learning, increasing problem solving skills, filling skill gaps, stimulating creativity and learning from each other are the ways. The report concludes that the peer-to-peer learning considered as the most effective medium that helps the students to improve their academic learning and also improve the coordination among the students. It is recommended that the university and academicians has develops guidelines that helps student to actively engaged on peer to peer learning process.

In the present times independent learning is the most effective tool that increases the knowledge of the students. With the help of independent learning student can easily clear his or her doubts and can easily solve them with his own learning. Research that demonstrates that peer-to-peer learning can be used to promote student engagement in class and increase learning.

To increase the learning among the students, peer-to-peer learning is the best way that helps to share the knowledge among the students.

Researchers claimed that most of the universities are promoting peer-to-peer learning in order to improve the way of learning among the students. It is also to be noted that peer learning is not a single undifferentiated educational strategy that increases the coordination among the students. Peer to peer learning is a mutually beneficial activity that understands all as a tutor and a learner.
