Introduction
It can be stated that being a nursing associate I have the opportunity to work with people of all ages, in a variety of settings in health and social care. Furthermore, this role also contributes to the core work of nursing as well. However, I also feel that this is also a stand-alone role that has provided me with a genuine progression route toward graduate-level nursing. This particular reflective account will be highlighting my personal experience revolving around an aspect of practice that I was involved in my workplace. Furthermore, this reflective account would be relating to Platform 6- Contributing to integrated care of the Standards of Proficiency for Nursing Associates. The area for an issue that is considered is an ethical problem I have been associated with Recovery and Operating theatres as a nursing associate and this is relevant to my role because it can affect negatively concerning the practice. On the other hand, I will be also using the Driscoll (2007) model of reflection for looking back and reflecting on my concept of Platform 6- Contributing to integrated care as well as it is the model that will be also assisting me to create an important nursing plan.
