Abstract
Mining the moon has been a future venture which is now viewed with profitable perspectives
accords globe because of the advancement of highly technological equipments and development
of concepts in space physics. The cu
ent research proposal is about mining the moon for gold
and looking at the possibilities over there in order to provide economical feasibility to the world.
Introduction
The internal sources of minerals and precious metals on earth are gradually reducing; the
mining sector, if seen from commercial perspective, has grown rapidly in the past few decades.
The mining of precious metals, petroleum products excretion along with drilling the minerals
from the core of the earth has now put the question over the limited availability of these
esources on the planet. However, with the development of extra te
itorial explorations of the
scientists, they have discovered several other planets which have enormous amount of minerals,
energy sources and precious metals like gold.
These findings have now encouraged the investors to plan and design the mining of gold
and other natural resources on these planets and to start with it, moon has been a prime location.
This proposal is about mining gold and other metals from the moon at the lowest possible costs
with the help of limited available sources which will be utilized in the process of mining. The
aim of this research will be to find out and maximize the locations on moon through advanced
space techniques of drilling the alien surface and to
ing back the precious metals; the study
would also recommend the ways through which, the over drilling of the earth’s core can be
prevented in order to sustain the cu
ent environmental norms on global scale.

As a matter of fact, not much of the studies about mining gold and other natural resources
exist cu
ently, however, some strong evidences and analytical approaches are found in order to
promote and encourage the mining of the future. Leo and David (2015) look at the economical
feasibility of mining the moon in terms of modern thinking and space explorations related to it.
They are of the view that moon has vast opportunities as far as the situation of digging it for
industrial purposes is concerned. The surface of the moon, as per the pictures taken by the high
esolution cameras of NASA rovers, is filled with the rarest kind of metals and energy sources
which is clean and less harmful, if compared to the processes applied to the radioactive
management of energy on the earth. Also, the availability of gold and other natural resources
may help in building the new earth and moon infrastructure; a dream which can only be possible
if seen positively because establishment of mining industry requires the construction of the
primary and secondary infrastructure over the selected location.
They cite the statement of Crawford, a space scientist, who is of the view that for one
mineral or natural resource, digging the surface of the moon will be like a futile and extravagant
effort but, the opportunities include that the surface of the moon may yield several components
which are not only rare but also very helpful to the development of the energy sources on the
planet. It is more like finding out the alternative sources of energy and natural resources along
with seeking the opportunities to develop the residential location on a different planet with the
help of advanced techniques to reduce the density of population on the planet earth.
For example, the excavation of helium 3, a powerful alternative of radioactive energy, is
found on the moon. One bit of skepticism from Crawford concerns helium-3. Advocates envision
mining the moon for this isotope of helium, which gets embedded in the upper layer of lunar
