The two health care organisations selected for discussion purpose is Cancer Council and Medibank Private Limited. Cancer Council is functioning as non-governmental non-profit organisation rendering advice to health care institutions for formulating practices and policies for preventing, detecting and treating cancer. Cancer Council is performing wide array functions in terms of conducting cancer research, granting necessary funds, providing necessary information for preventing cancer cases, rendering necessary care to patients, and maintaining quality of the treatment. All these functions are performed with the goal of beating cancer through empowering, leading and mobilising community for beating cancer (Cancer Council, 2017). 
As compared to it, Medibank Private Limited is a profit based organisation functioning as a national private health insurer in Australia. Medibank was previously operating as a not for profit organisation but later on converted as a profit enterprise. The profits are earned in the form of dividends and credited to the Federal Government. Medibank is operating in accordance with the regulations laid down by Private Health Insurance Administration Council.
