ACA was signed by President Obama in the year 2010. Hence, it is also known as Obamacare. The main aim behind developing this act was to provide insurance to the citizens residing in The United States. There are several people, in the country, who cannot avail insurance policies either due to a low paying job or due to unemployment or even some kind of life threatening disease such as cancer or other chronic diseases.
