Lean is all about maximizing the customer value by eliminating the waste in an organization. 
There are 7 wastes normally remembered with TIMWOOD : 
1. Transport 
2. Inventory 
3. Motion 
4. Waiting 
5. Over production 
6. Over processing 
7. Defects 
It is seen that in any organization from the activity to receiving the customer order to delivery it 
to the customer there are only 10% value addition activities which we are performing and rest 
90% activities are non-value adding activities.
