I have chosen Apple Inc. as the company where I will like to work. Apple Canada headquarter is situated in Southcore Financial Center, Toronto, Canada. The corporate culture of Apple is to create an innovative culture. It maintains a high level of innovation which consists of creativity and an attitude which challenges the conventions and standards. Thus, the culture of Apple is based on the five basic principles of top-notch excellence, ingenuity, secrecy, innovation and judicious combativeness (Pauline Meyer; 2019).
Further, as an employee I do enjoy certain rights for being treated fairly in the workplace which is free from any forms of discrimination with respect to gender, race and ethnicity. Also, there are equal employment opportunity act which are designated towards the women, disables, visible minorities and the people of aboriginal origins. Hence, Apple as has to adhere to the Employee Equity as well as the Federal Contractors Program. The company also needs to cover the Canada labour code which consists of industrial relations, workplace health and safety of workers and adhering to the employment standards which includes general holidays, minimum wage, annual vacations and layoff procedures (Government of Canada; 2021).
