Alexander Fleming and his contributions to medicine
Sir Alexander Fleming was a microbiologist from Scotland who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology for his great contribution to the field of medicine. He was born on the 6th of August 1881 and gained most of his early education there. Later he travelled to London and settled in St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, Paddington where he established and lived his entire professional career.
