in small numbers and sold at higher prices. They should be quick to calculate discounts for loyal
customers, high value purchases etc. Also, it would be convenient to have a detailed sales
history to understand customer sales patterns. For example, Quickbooks could be of use to them,
also it has an advantage of scalability.
A small shop selling golf clubs should not have a requirement for a very sophisticated setup. It
should be able to function with a basic AIS with purchase and sales records, inventory
management and regular accounting activities. For example, Microsoft Small Business
Accounting is uncomplicated and fits their need.
