	Culture can be defined as the overall characteristics, behavior, practices, and inherent traits that make a group of people unique from a global perspective. Culture defines people from different locations and is distinct in recognizing differences. Language, music, dressing, food, religion, and work are aspects of culture that vary based on the location (Idang). These aspects also hold strong values associated with the culture.
Impact of African culture on knowledge and production globally
           As far as scientific knowledge is concerned, the contribution from Africa is 1.1% globally according to the World Economic Forum (Karuiki). African culture holds values that strive to maintain the prosperity of the people, sustainability and improve the well-being of mankind around them. Based on the cultural values, the impact of African culture has been low in knowledge as only 79 scientists in a million are from Africa according to the World Economic Forum.
 According to (Sharon Fonn), the global research output of Africa accounts for 1%.
