The Australian agricultural industry has a revenue of AU$ 49.9 Billion in 2016/17 according to the Australian Agriculture Trade Performance report 2016/17, accounting for 12 % of the nation’s GDP. The industry on a whole generates employment for nearly 325,300 people across the country.
