The detection of Delirium in the elderly was highly under the nurse expertise since they are ones to spend most of the times with the patients and observe them closely. Hence, a study was made by Baker, Taggart, Nivens and Tillman (2015), regarding the capability of nurses to identify and treat patients having Delirium and the challenges faced by them in it. The study was done on 12 nurses, having 6 to 43 years of working on different hospital units, chosen from a local hospital in western Canada.
