We live in a very big state with a diverse economy, landscape and population. How do we really rank?Only 1/3 of the Texas population is college educated. We rank 8th in economy but 38th in health care, 37th in education, 47th in opportunity and 49th in vaccinations. We have a lot of work to do. This is why voting is so important and I was so happy to learn how many people voted in 2020! If you are a US Citizen who votes then you are participating and voting for change. Even if you are not eligible to vote, knowing your rights and staying informed is very important. Most people vote for the candidate that better suits their hopes for the future. Party loyalty is not always the answer. There is always room for improvement.
