Professional communication plays a unique role in the clinical settings in maintaining professional relationship in between the colleagues. There are several factors, which affect the overall health of the patient and one of these factors includes professional communication (Bello, 2017). With the increase in the complexity of the type of patient care and the demand of care delivery, the healthcare professionals need to communicate with each other and accordingly the care plan is created. In the video, the character, which is selected and will be analysed in the following discussion is the CN wearing white shirt.

According to the WHO, health literacy is an important set of skills that involves social and cognitive skills, which results in the motivation and increasing the ability of the healthcare professional to communicate with different individuals that helps in access and using information in different ways to promote as well as good health (Blake & Blake, 2019). The persuasion theory is applied to advocate in the persuasive communication playing a pivotal role in communicating message and igniting behaviour (Alvarez, Dal Sasso & Iyengar, 2017).
Often the ability of the healthcare professionals to communicate any message with expertise includes trustworthiness helping in persuasion of either a co-worker or a patient.
