I feel that the method of choices and consequences is the most effective to resolve conflict because it enforces such conditions on both the parties, which creates a challenge for them to choose the consequence of their action. It is applied when conversation is not able to reach to any positive outcome and it is important to bring it to a certain agreeable level. This is required so that in professional front projects do not get delayed and authoritative commands are followed. At personal level, it is helpful in clearing the temporary clog so that normalization can be started.

I have learnt that I have to keep a watch over my actions and behavior in order to avoid the conflicts. In case I am not able to avoid it, I should behave in a patient manner and try to understand the other person’s perspective.
