Interest groups are the most critical element in lobbying as they mainly try to influence the voters and the government in a way to adopt certain legislations which would benefit their candidate in re-election. Generally, these interest groups are involved in lobbying, getting coalitions done, providing campaigning assistance and publicizing ratings of legislative behaviour. These are the techniques used for re-election of a candidate.
