This is a very interesting and intriguing podcast that talks about Intuition and how easily we rely our decisions based on short-cuts, stereotype and past experience. All the decisions that we make aren’t ration since some are based on intuition. Since it isn’t always optimal to follow our gut. David says this is precisely because we are constantly under the play of the cognitive biases that controls our actions, behaviours and thought-process. Cognitive bias is really a short-cut the mind is making for a fast-track to decisions. We make several decisions in day and majority of time we are using our judgements and emotions to make them.
