Using your PICOT question as a guide and your starting point for this next project, you will conduct an efficient, thorough search for evidence to address the clinical question. The study types you seek will depend on the clinical question being asked. The best evidence to answer a question might be found in systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, nonrandomized experimental studies, qualitative or descriptive studies, evidence-based practice guidelines, or expert opinion. Information should be searched for in all relevant sources, and the highest level of evidence should always be sought.

For this assignment, write an 8–10 page paper in which you describe search for evidence and evaluation using one of the rapid critical appraisal checklists in Appendix B of Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing and Health Care (keep this checklist in your portfolio for later use).

In this paper:

  • Conduct a search for evidence that justifies the extent of the problem using:
    • Scientific literature and practice guidelines (if applicable).
    • Consensus documents (if applicable).
    • Quality improvement data (if available and applicable).
    • Expert opinion.
  • List your search terms, databases used, and process by which you narrowed your search to find the best evidence.
  • Use the rating of evidence to rank the strength of selected articles.
  • Construct an evidence table summarizing at least five studies. Use the table in Appendix C of Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing and Health Care as a template.
  • Synthesize the findings.
  • Adhere to APA style and formatting throughout your paper and when citing your sources.

Introduction
In the complex stigma of healthcare, some issues in the modern context have given an
onset to the discussion and sometimes even to debates; it has become necessary to address these
issues from the evidence bases perspectives in healthcare sector. The several types anxiety issues
in individuals are such factors which have multidimensional assumptions and it is complicated to
apply a certain theoretical framework to all issues of the patients especially when, the clinician is
ound to follow the psychotherapy guidelines along with providing effective preventive
measures to the patients. This context has led to several assumptions about the EBP in defining,
determining and reaching to the state of resolution. However, some of the studies mentioned in
this research have shown promises for the future that might help in addressing the real time
needs of the patients in terms of EBP. The studies and their results are discussed as following:
The Need of Relating the EBP with the Practical Aspects of the Anxiety Issues
Addis, Wade and Christina (1999) address the issue of controlled measures which
clinicians have to take in order to provide effective care to their patients. They actually
characterize the segment through dividing the problems in six various categories namely, the
therapeutic relationship, patient client needs, competence and job satisfaction, credibility of
manual based treatments. In term of relating it with evidence based practice concepts, the
problems rise from the very beginning, at the time of examining a patient from the clinical point
of view.
There is no set guideline, except some traditional norms which are provided to the
clinicians and to the support staff as well about maintaining fully professional relationship with
their patients. However, the process of treatment does not do that much of good to this area of
elationship. The therapy given sometimes leads to another angle and at times, experts are found
to develop personal relationships with their patents.
The second and third categories in this respect come with another point of view which
states that the job satisfaction is not guaranteed for a long working professional in this section.
For example, if an expert is involved consistently in dealing with several patients a day
approaching him with general anxiety disorder, it might affect the status of that expert as well as
he would request for a
eak from the work.
Over business and engagement with work results in the development of negative
capability. This must be addressed on high priority and at the same time, the question whether
the patients coverage and other issues fall in the jurisdiction of the clinical expert or not should
e addressed as well through some specific conduction of the theoretical framework. In terms of
given guidelines which are said to have a so called fixed standard which has to be followed by all
should also be reviewed; in fact, in the cases of psychological issues related with patients, every
new study comes up with some new result. The mind and conditions of the patents vary from
person to person and it is really hard to define that thin line of distinction between the rules and
the given guidelines.
The Leeway to Reduce GAD in Youth
Kendall & Beidas(2007) mainly focus on another aspect of the issue by defining it from
the perspective of youth in this respect. The authors examine several empirical studies to come
up with the conclusion the scale of feasibility and fidelity can be determined through positive
interventions in terms of reducing the general anxiety disorder in the youth. The role and
implementation of evidence-based practice and empirically supported treatments has been hotly
contested among researchers and practitioners. Using examples of and from various empirically
supported treatments the authors offer suggestions for smoothing the pathway for dissemination
of evidence-based practice with children and adolescents. The authors underscore those
meditational analyses, treatment process studies, and the continued creation of flexible treatment
manuals as important components of successful dissemination. Flexibility within fidelity is
proposed as the prefe
ed perspective that eases the transition and dissemination of empirically
supported treatments from research clinics to service clinics.
The study has a positive highlight towards...
