Part one
A) If I were Ron, I would take the suggestion of Theresa’s mother gravely i.e. I would think over the fact that how I can manage the transport situation to help Theresa in order to confront her late coming problem in the class. However, I would also give a thought to the several dimensions of this problem. For example, it would be quite a hectic schedule to Theresa to join her mother first to work and then come to the school with me. It would simply stress her out, as per my thinking.
B) As per the general understanding of the case study, the consequentiality of ethical dilemma theory is applicable where the moral content of any act is determined by the results of the same action. This theory comes with a specific parameter or standard that is particularly applicable with the context of the case. Theresa is late for the school every day and there is a solution suggested by her mother to Ron Clark. The action of picking her from her mother’s workplace would be the action driven out of morality. Its result would also be positive; Theresa would be able to join the school well on time as well.
C) If the consequence based ethical theory is applied to the case study, the domain of compromising the teaching conduct and appropriate law would be applicable to the case only. In other words, Ron would be subjected to be seen as the teacher who holds partiality towards other students because they do not get that special privilege. Thus, Ron will be subjected to any legal action taken against him by the school authorities for helping one of his students by going out of the context.
