What criteria should be used to determine the appropriate type of process behavior chart (

Ans: 
  A behavior chart checks whether the process is within control or not. Now there are vario
us kinds of control charts which are applicable for different cases. To answer which chart is appr
opriate we have to remember few things as well as what is out test criteria. 
The 1

 and foremost important thing to look for would be the data and what is it represen
ting. As we know the data type may be different for each situation. As for example the data may 
be quantitative (where it is taking any value within certain range) or it can be qualitative (it is tak
ing some fixed values like 0,1 and 2 or yes and no etc.). And for different types of data the proce
ss chart would be different.
