Experimental Research: This type of research is based on a specific research question and focused on the external and internal variables and answers the question of whether the relationship between the variables is causal or not via statistical analysis. To measure the number of students subjected to bullying in schools between age groups and grades is an example of experimental research (Kazdin, 2016).
Quasi-Experimental Research: This is a type of non-experimental research, where an independent variable is modified yet it is not applied to the conditions of research. Such an example would be, if the researcher is comparing between two schools, one of which has an anti bullying program and one, which does not, and using it to determine self-esteem in the students subjected to bullying in school (Rogers, Révész, & Rogers, 2020).
