Secondly, the guidance counsellor should analyze the family background and accordingly should ask certain basic question to the parents. The questions would go like this: What is the family structure, income source, housing pattern? How many members are there in the family? Is their any family history of forgetfulness, laziness, or irritability? What are the physical problems the children are suffering with? Is there any psychological problem the children are affected with?
