Assignment 1 of 1 Please respond to the following case study when completing Tasks 1 & 2 Case Study Kathy is a 59-year-old woman who has multiple medical conditions including type 2 diabetes, hypertension and longstanding musculoskeletal pain following a car accident in 2014. Her medical history includes, anaemia, knee replacement, and multiple accident and emergency (A&E) admissions for asthma. Kathy takes Metformin to manage her diabetes and uses both reliever and preventer inhalers to manage her asthma. Her GP has also recommended lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, lower alcohol consumption etc.) to improve her health. However, Kathy finds it difficult to put these changes into action. Kathy lives alone in a one-bedroom flat which is in a poor state of repair (damp, mould on the walls, unreliable plumbing etc.) and is located adjacent to a busy main road. She no longer works due to ill-health. She socialises regularly with friends at the local community centre and meets her nephew and niece every weekend to have a coffee and go shopping.
