For this unit you will produce a 500-word leaflet pertaining to the role of a health or social care professional. You will chose only one specific role to focus on.

In your leaflet you will be required to:

· Analyse your chosen role – ensuring your role is particular in specialism (AC 1.1)

· Analyse the professional qualities needed in the role to enable best practice (AC 2.1)

· Give clear explanations of how conduct and practice is regulated by an associated professional body/bodies (AC 2.2)

Task Two (of two):

Following on, you will be required to write a 1,000-word essay on teamwork and focusing on how it pertains to the health or social care professional you wrote about in your leaflet.

The essay statement for you to address is as follows:

Ineffective teamwork is detrimental to ensuring efficient and safe patient care. Discuss. (AC 3.1, 3.2).
