New technology development and formulating new drugs for therapy are not enough for cancer patients worldwide. A tight treatment at the right time can prolong life expectancy. Where rather than curing, caring is the ultimate focus for treating the life treating ill patients. It helps in affirming life while death is inevitable. However, that can be delayed, while during the lifetime, the experiences can be better and the pain can be reduced.
The promotion of palliative care is a worldwide issue with its challenges, improvements and scopes. The growing population and need for palliative care are increasing day by day. Though people refrain from using these services in some cultures, some nations utilise these operations to the fullest and take advantage of these care operations. In the United Kingdom, voluntary hospices are mostly common: the inpatient unit, day-care centre, home care, outpatient clinic and bereavement support services (Milicevic, 2002).
Some hospices are fully funded by the national health services relying on donations and cu
ently, there are 7,000 palliative care services in 90 countries. There are 240 inpatient units; in the USA, there is 3000 hospice care; in Canada, there are 650 hospices; in Latin America, there are 100. In the case of Australia, there are 100 units 0of palliative care systems and this number is 40 in the case of New Zealand, 300 in the case of Asia and 45 in South Africa. Germany, Poland, France and Sweden are in the leading position in this case.

The world health organisation has defined this care system as a holistic approach for patients with life-threatening diseases, which improves the quality of life for people and prolongs life expectancy (Gao, 2012). It is not against the principle of life but the betterment of the remaining lifetime of critical patients to lead a happy and healthy life where caring instead of curing becomes the prime concern.
China is a largely populated area because there is an increased amount of elderly population in the country. The death rate is also an alarming factor among elderly patients. In addition, cancer is becoming an ongoing concern among the population. Palliative care in the context of these viral diseases is available by people.
The family system is also shifting wherein the older adults' family care framework is not being considered as before. That is why developing an effective plan for the elderly is extremely important for saving the population aged over 60 years, who are more prone to get sick and those, who can be harmed by life-threatening diseases.
