In order to avoid this train crash, it must be serviced regularly work in a good condition and failure must be noticed which may lead to an accident. Other reasons that cause train accident includes negligence of train conductor, derailment of a train, not maintaining rail tracks properly, fault with the equipment, a collision between the other trains, collision with any vehicle or truck which is trying to cross train tracks, collapse with bridges and fault during train crossings (Adger, 1999) (Australian Fire Authority Council, 2004) (Holly Foster, 2015).

The Granville train crash is the disaster consisted of eight passenger carriages hauled by 46-class electric locomotive 4620. The train derailed and trucked in one of the steel-and-concrete pillars that support the bridge that carries bold street over the cutting of the railway. The first two carriages got damaged since it has crossed the bridge. The first carriages that cross the bridge are broken and opened when it collided with a track which results in the killing of eight passengers. Second carriage clear of the bridge and remaining carriages ground to halt. The third and fourth carriage rested under the weakened bridge. The weight of the third and fourth carriage is 570 tones approximately. The passengers in the next two carriages got half killed at the spot and few were injured in the train after the incident. The cylinders kept in the train for heating during winter was also another danger due to rupturing of cylinders. The leaking of gas prevents immediate use of powered rescue tools.
