There are many creative tools a designer uses to think differently, but none is more counter-intuitive than "wrong thinking," also called reverse thinking. Wrong thinking is when you intentionally think of the worst idea possible — the exact opposite of the accepted or logical solution, ideas that can get you laughed at or even fired — and work back from those to find new ways of solving old problems.

Introduction:
As per author, different innovative tools are used by the designer to think & implement
differently which is also known as ―reverse thinking‖ or wrong thinking. It is when one
purposely imagines the most awful thought achievable – the precise contradictory of the logical
or accepted explanation– as well as it is a method used to solve the old issues with the new
techniques. Birsel provided various examples to prove that if we behave as a beginner we are
eady to learn new things but once we are experienced then we do not welcome innovative ideas.
