There are 2 groups of education majors. they are all assigned to study a diverse neighborhood where their internship will be. Half do the study, half don't. Then, they go teach the children in the schools using knowledge and understanding about the community in their lessons. The K-12 students take a pre and post test on what their teacher (from one of the 2 groups) taught them. Is there a difference in the outcomes of the learners based on which new teachers completed the community study? What statistical analysis will test for this, plus one other variable on a skill the teachers were supposed to learn?
