Pick any THREE of the five wars studied in this module(see the attachment). For EACH ONE, report on a video you found (youtube or elsewhere) that illuminates something discussed about that particular war in the textbook, OR adds something to the discussion that is not even in the textbook. You will write onTHREEseparate wars, hence you need to findTHREEseparate videos, one for each war.Be sure to quote from the text, and the video, and give the complete URL, and uploader if available, of the video.Limit this assignment to 6 pages TOTAL, so that each war's report is about 2 pages long.

You may pick an excerpt from a movie, a documentary, an interview, etc. Youtube has an excellent selection of all five wars!Special Note: If you choose World War One or World War Two, type in the word, "France" after it. The war MUST concern France directly! Hence the names:FrenchIndochina War,FrenchAlgerian War,Franco-Prussian War.

World War I (France)
The roots of World War I, as per the video and the text observation, were laid during late 1880s; the Russian tension with Austria along with the alliances of Germany with the same was souring something negative to happen in future. Bismarck was expecting that by not letting Germany to lend money to Russia would strengthen his position in Tsar. In funding Russia It resulted in the fact that Russians received more money on behalf of French bankers and the amount was roughly 500 million francs; Bismarck could also sign the treaty of Renaissance with Russians but Kaiser William II made the situation odd because he did not wish to continue by the rules of Bismarck in 1890.
France fought for dominance of Africa with Britain, and to a lesser degree, with Italy. In their respective African colonies, there was persistent conflict between Britain and France over borders. Théophile Delcassé was the minister of foreign affairs at that time and he knew it well that progress was not possible, if the conflicts in two regions with two different nations continued, Britain in Africa and Russia in Europe and, therefore; Captain Marchand recalled the Fashoda expeditionary force, despite widespread protests. It ultimately became the first source of France’s official entry in the World War I with British alliance.
Moreover, hiring young and fresh force was leading cause that French rulers deployed very tactfully to enhance the war outcomes in their favor. In the out
eak phase of the war, Russian stand was clear to the rest of the nations while Britain was still making decisions about it. In 1913, the notorious three year law expanded the conscription duration from two to three years for French draftees; young men were formerly in training at 21 and 22 years of age and then joined the reserves; now they are in training at 20, 21 and 22 years of age.
Additionally, there were some conflicting points between France and Britain here; Britain was not ethically bound to form alliance with France in 1914 and it may have opened up new opportunities for Russia. All British rules wanted were to avoid German intrusion over its boundaries. The British Liberal Government was pacifist, and yet strongly legalistic, such that the German
each of Belgian neutrality helped rally party members to support the war effort, treating it like a scrap of paper. Britain felt a sense of responsibility to protect France, and the Liberal Government knew that if it did not do so it would either fall into a coalition or hand over to the more militaristic Conservative Party. The Liberal Party will likely be destroyed by either alternative. Not only was neutrality
oken when the German Army invaded Belgium, from this onwards, the threats of France losing the war were...
