Population and Community
The Population refers to all the Organisms of same species living together at a certain place and time (Garza, 2015). For instance, the number of human beings living in an area at any point of time, or the number of a particular species of animals living in an area will be regarded as the population of human beings and the animals of that species respectively. 
The Community refers to the all the organisms of multiple species or populations living together at a place and time. The community is a broader term which also involves the interactions between different populations. However, it does not include the abiotic factors. For instance, a forest containing different types of trees, shrubs, and herbs in addition to different animals and bacteria in the soil, constitute a biological community.
As the nurses have to deal with human beings in a major context, the importance of human population is far greater for the public health nurses rather than the community. However,
