The rise of the Industrial Britain led to the social division on the cities between the rich and the poor that’s thus the political parties deciding that the state should be the one to provide for the poor, that so the introduction of social welfare introducing health insurance, labour exchange to reduce unemployment until this was halted down by second world war (Schifferes: 2005)
Beveridge report:
After world war 11 British governments commissioned a report with the aim of rebuilding its self from the effects of the war, on this note William Beveridge was chosen to take the lead were he recognized that the government is affected by 5 giants of evil and had to find way of eradicating them for good of every one for the welfare state (British History blog: XXXXXXXXXXWelfare state is one of the government concept developed in the Scandinavia in 1930 looking at the states’ role in the provision of public health services and houses ,relief for the poor and social insurance during the post war period(Eikemo and Bambra:2008).
This led to a significant improvement on public housing ,public health ,social determinant of health like increase in mortality and morbidity (Eikemo and Bambra:2008)

of welfare can bed divided into three different stages. The first stage is poor laws and national

The second stage of welfare development was known as the golden age of welfare
