Interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence are two attributes of the individual
which helps him to build strong personal and professional relationships, whereby, interpersonal
communication decides the way you speak and share your knowledge, ideas and views and
emotional intelligence

Interpersonal communication is the process of exchanging the ideas, feelings, information etc

lives and gives happiness. It consists of, the ideas that needs to be exchanged, the medium of

make the interpersonal communication effective following points need to be taken into
consideration:
1. Plan before speaking. This planning involves the choice of words and the communication
should be polite enough.
2. Try to get the listener attention, by making the message relevant for him and draft the
message such that it is easily communicated and understood.
3. Remove the ba
iers to communication like noise. Moreover, the person has to be good
listener also, by not inte

4. Make the communication more active whereby, both the individual participate in the
communication process.
5. Treat the person with open heart and give equal worth as ourselves. Treating others
