The case study is about an order to revoke license of Mr. Poor, who is a chiropractor. The Ne
aska Department of Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure in Poor v. State, has revoked his license. Mr. Poor was alleged for misleading the patients and to provide them with adulterer drugs with the sole purpose of frauding the patients. In addition, he himself remains under the influence of the drugs and he was caught driving in a drugged manner.
A chiropractor is a doctor who deals with the misalignment of joints and they can prescribe medication for the same. However, the practice of Mr. Poor is practically and ethically wrong and hence he was under the trial for the same. Studies suggest that doctors need to let down the boundaries which they misguidedly feel will make them look at feeble without flinching of their friends and expand the standards of mindful, trusting and sharing sentiments to medical caretakers who have liquor and other addictions to drugs.
A doctor works under the ethical code of conduct and the two main practices that should be followed by the doctor in non-maleficence and justice towards the patients.
