Modern healthcare sector is under the influence of various challenges, which ranges from the management of terminal illness to surviving against the global pandemic of Covid-19. In fact, the question of maintaining work life balance is one of the most typical factors for healthcare professionals especially for the nursing staff. Nursing has remained in the center of this question because of the fact that over the past one year, nursing professionals have seen something unexpected and unusual to manage, which is to manage the patients of Covid-19. The diseases such as Covid-19break the morale of working for professionals and at the same time, perhaps, it is the most controversial situation to maintain work life balance because there are many lives at stake when such pandemic occurs. 
2. Different Perspectives from Different Lenses
The Leadership Perspective of Work Life Balance 
At first, it is important to analyze how leadership models affect the course of establishing ideal work life balance for nursing professionals. Leadership in healthcare pertains to provide the best model of care to the diverse population living in any region of the country. Leaders in healthcare are driven by the ideology to thrive against the problems that affect the health of common population and it makes their role sensitive as well as publically accountable (Kossek & Lee, 2020).
At times, the leaders in healthcare encourage their staff to push their limits at workplace, leading to various issues related to stress and fatigue at the same time; it disturbs the mental and physical condition of the staff and they simply become unable to prove their skills at workplace. The above can be relatable to the present pandemic outbreak of Covid-19 at global level in which, thousands of nursing professionals have devoted their days and night in the care of patients.
