Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) is a new yet efficient and effective, multidisciplinary concept that had inculcated information technology (IT) to the field of health care and has resulted in an improved data collection, retrieval and management system. Current reports focuses towards evolution of HMIS and new concepts in the field of healthcare along with the focus towards some topics that can act as the ‘next big thing’ in the health informatics and can help the health care provider to ease the hospitality services. This also allows the patients or the user to have smoother experience with the healthcare and this is time saving.
