INTRODUCTION
Reflective journals are space provided to a student or learners to record and reflect their learning and learning experiences in different ways. It analyses the entire process for self-development. This report is also a reflective journal that will provide the learning experience which I have gained in doing the individual assignment on Activity-Based Costing. It will give an overview of the information, knowledge, and concepts that have helped me to understand the management accounting systems (especially ABC system) in detail. Also, the journal will provide the benefits, difficulties, and challenges that I have faced during the assignment. 
REFLECTIVE JOURNAL
There are many management accounting systems that organizations use. Out of them, I selected the Activity-Based Costing system as it has replaced the traditional costing systems and is used in most of the manufacturing companies in Australia. It has helped me gain a better understanding of the features and use of Activity-Based Costing in any company. Considering the practical use of such a costing system more than others, I found it to be an interesting one. The assignment has helped me to gather information about the different costing systems like job-costing, process-costing, activity-based costing, etc. as I had to choose one out of them. There is a process which needs to follow while applying the ABC system and there are many practical case study where real-life organizations have implemented it and used it successfully. Hence, the immense practical case study and widespread use of such a costing system have made the topic interesting for me. This is the reason I selected it so that it will enhance my knowledge.
