Technical ReportAugmented Reality campus maps As part of a European funded project, the University researchers have developed a novel augmented reality campus map system that users can run on their Smartphones, allowing them to look through their phones and see buildings annotated with their names and functions. The system has been piloted, but before it is made available to all students and staff the University is keen to make sure that it complies with appropriate health and safety legislation and will be safe to use. You have been asked to write a report that sets out: (1) what health and safety risks might be associated with this type of app, (2) what responsibilities the University has to ensure the safety of its staff and students on campus, and (3) what guidelines and policies the University might want to put in place to meet these responsibilities. You are expected to use the academic literature to evidence your advice.

Introduction
Every college or university, whether they understand it at the beginning of a project or not, needs to be involved in a map-making phase. A campus map is a way of improving an identity, after all. It is essential to integrate them at a preliminary phase, whether it is keeping a close eye on organisational styles, packaging, colours or geometric objects. Recent technical innovations have gained prominence in daily activities by finding many applications (1).
Development of Augmented Reality Campus Map
There are many devices and numerous applications, which concentrate on guiding the consumer to their desired places. Thanks to the GPS systems many have in their vehicles, today's passengers are well prepared for driving. GPS applications allow customers to access a destination and view the quickest path to the destination depending on the cu
ent directions.
Additional functionality, such as the display of congested roads, have evolved over time, allowing users to make smart driving decisions and increase driving safety. When going to new locations or taking long journeys, this saves so much time and tension. The Campus Assistant mobile programme that operates on Android phones is the key component of architecture (2).
The user experience of the app encourages the user to submit relevant information such as type of user, map of the campus and location of the destination. The app offers both guidance and navigation capabilities for walking/driving while being on the campus. The application relies on a JSON/HTTP protocol to demand a Mapping Server XML map file. This XML file is interpreted and the characteristics of the map graph are constructed.
The GPS system for smartphones is used for determination of the cu
ent location of the user, or the user may show the location of the source. The app will guide the user to the accessible parking lot closest to the final destination, if the user needs driving directions. The app then determines the shortest connection between the source and the endpoint and shows it on top of Google maps on the computer device. Icons mark the present location of the user and the destination.
(1) Health and Safety Risks Associated with This App
The signals received by GPS devices are not harmful for our bodies, but the use of navigation devices will make you vulnerable to the development of consciousness diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia. This is, however, a very small chance. Scientists reported that the use of navigation devices would slow down the full capacity of the
ain, which is also connected to learning and emotions, a portion of our
ain that is essential for making new memories.
GPS car navigation does make us a little lazy, so we are slightly susceptible to developing a perception disorder. However, as the use of this programme has become a valuable method for daily life, we recommend that you can go and exercise your
ain on a regular basis to maintain a healthy
ain and avoid an illness. It is important to explore new routes such as ride to work, or the nearest store, or when doing e
ands daily or weekly to use the application.
Maps are, nevertheless, just as powerful as the data that underpins them; their utility can be determined by their sources of data and resolve. Although there is no one method to plot the propagation and effects of COVID-19 temporally, several maps hold out. From the viewpoint of health behaviour, it is assumed that personality traits such as prior perceptions, experiences, personal significance and numeracy and particular beliefs such as susceptibility, intensity and danger to others, form global beliefs such as seriousness.
These, in turn, a
itrate the progression from purpose to change in behaviour. It has been proposed that particular...
