Planting a tree with children may signify much more than simply adding a beautiful element to the landscape. It is an opportunity for the children to 'give back' to the environment by attracting birds, insects, and other wildlife to the habitat. Children may feel the gratification that comes from caring for something over time while also experiencing the cycle of life directly by working in a garden. Gardening is also a fantastic approach to educate environmental awareness by seeing how nature works. It also helps for improving the social and sustainability commitment of the students to the nature and it provides an opportunity for the children to be with nature and understand the benefits of planting trees. Sustainability education is being widely recognized as essential for young children. An essential part of early childhood sustainability education is determining how to best combine sustainability education's conceptual foundation with cu
ent play-based pedagogies.
