Sol: Well, it is always important to understand the real criteria of suffering because if we talk about suffering, there are many types of sufferings as per human beings but when it comes to Biblical references suffering is explained in a very precise & different manner. Human feelings & emotions are vast, and it actually varies from person to person. But there is one universal experience that is common the process of suffering is actually the same for almost everyone. The situation can be different for everyone but when the level of pain is almost equal for everyone when it comes to suffering. It is an eternal truth that we all suffer; the reason for suffering can be experiences but skipping the suffering is inevitable. As per Bible, Suffering is inevitable, and everyone has to go to suffering. But we all have one common question, “Why does God allow suffering?” because God is our helper & protector. Why will he allow his own people to suffer and feel the pain?
In Bible, it is explained that Sufferings are the consequence of our Sins. If we are committing sins and don’t follow the path of God, then we have to go through with the suffering. It is actually important to understand that as per Biblical texts, God gave us suffering to feel happiness even more because then we will be able to understand the value of happiness & good times. It is explained
iefly that everyone who is committing sins has to go through suffering and won’t be able to live a peaceful life without facing any hurdle because it is the process. If you want to lead a happy life, then it is important to face the suffering of all the sins that you have committed so that you can understand the value of life and follow god’s plan. The first stage of reaching to God is to recognize that suffering is nothing but a plan of God to tell you that it is important to feel it so that you can know the real importance of happiness Life is nothing but a balance between suffering & happiness.
As per Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:21, people’s fall is a consequence of human sin. It is signified that no one can beat God’s plan and God says that suffering in our lives is inevitable it might sound i
elevant and magical, but it is also important to face the suffering as per God’s thinking because it will help you to enjoy the littlest moment of your life. As per the Christian worldview, it is actually incredible because of the way God has expressed the suffering, it is outstanding because if you are committing sins, then it is a wrongdoing, and suffering can actually be a consequence of all human sins and if you want to overcome it, then it is important to feel the pain and suffering to know all the sinful activities that we have done in our lives and improve our personalities so that we can be a better version of ourselves.
Following are the Old Testament & New Testament of the Bible where suffering is defined in a different manner given below for your reference:
According to the OT, CF. Simundson 1992:219, suffering was defined as pain, affliction, anguish & so
