    As per the several clinical experts, diabetes is the impairment in the way the body uses and regulates sugar as a fuel. With type 2 diabetes the body does not produce enough insulin and requires medication process. Type 2 diabetes causes major health complications specially in the tiny blood vessels within the kidney, nerves, or eyes. It creates a situation where the pancreas cannot make enough insulin and hence once suffers from increase in sugar level.
    Assessment in this regard would be the neurological assessment, fundoscopic examination and vital signs are the most important aspects that are to be examined as indicated by patient’s situation. The assessment procedure would be continued with the patient who were already previously diagnosed with diabetes. It provides an annual assessment process which highlights the risk factors for the development of the complications.
