Chosen health organization and its geographic area
	The health organization chosen for this assignment is Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It is an organization under the US Department of Health and Human Services and is headquartered at Atlanta in Georgia (CDC, 2018). Its key role is to implement health initiatives for the better health conditions for the US public. Hence, the assignment presents an analysis of its external and internal environments, with an extended focus to its SWOT analysis.
Its internal and external environment analysis
	The internal and external environments of an organization consists of the internal factors such as the management, employees as well as the external factors such as the market trends, competition, governmental policies that affect the overall functioning of the organization, respectively (Betancourt, Green, Carrillo & Ananeh-Firmpong, 2003). The internal environment of CDC consists of its culture, mission, vision statements, employees and competitors. The organizational culture of the CDC is quite inclusive of a varied workforce, where the diversity of the employees are respected (Health Research & Educational Trust, 2013).
