Local statistics on age and aging trends in Illinois
	According to the United States Census Bureau (2018), in year 2018, around 15.2 percent population of Illinois is 65 years and above. This means aged population of Illinois is around 1,777,487 and every year, percentage of it is rising. In the next fifteen years, the population will rise around 2,226,431. The population of the elderly, who are aged 85 years and above, is 280,147 (Senior Care, 2019).
Impact of data on the future of Illinois 
	The elderly population is keeps on increasing. It has been suggested that the elderly population of Illinois rise to 18.2 percent in next 15 years (Senior Care, 2019). Illinois is facing the threat of shrinkage of the younger population and rising of the older population, which is an alarming situation. Around 7.1 percent of elderly population is disabled and 7.8 percent of the population is without the medical insurance (United States Census Bureau, 2019). The current trends show that the percentage of currently statistics will rise and Illinois needs to prepare itself for older population as well as work needs to be done to setup a balance between elderly and younger population. 
Impact of data on social context of aging population
	Illinois is facing the biggest people population, which is increase in aging population and decrease in younger population. This trend puts pressure on the States to increase the healthcare facilities for the older population.
