In Down Syndrome is a disease in which chromosomal trisomy occur in 21 
chromosome. Hence, it is also known as Trisomy 21.  
Due to Down syndrome delay in development of mental and physical abilities 
occurred. 
Many disabilities due to down syndrome are lifelong. Life expectancy of down 
syndrome people are also shorter than normal individuals. 
 However, Down syndrome patients may  live better and healthy lives.
