3.1 The following factors have affected the portfolio:
· The global pandemic, covid – 19 has hit the whole economy of the whole world hard and had negative impact on the stock market. As people got confined within their homes due to quarantine and lock down at several places, the sale of goods and services went down leading to fall in revenue and profit of the companies. This situation led to the fall of prices of equities in the market and so the wealth of the shareholders got reduced. This is also impacted the portfolio and reduced the net worth. For instance, Cineplex Inc faced 13% loss, which is quite high and this was mainly due to the fact that people stopped going out for movies, events and entertainment.  
· In 2020, amidst the pandemic, Canadian dollar take to the lowest mark compared to the U.S. dollar.
