Comparison forms an important scientific evidence in nursing since it will help in improving decision-making ability and will result in positive health outcomes in addition to being cost-effective (Panch, Mattie & Celi, 2019). Example test results comparison between patients.

Hypothesis testing forms a framework to determine and evaluate methods for understanding the observational findings in a group of population under study thereby enabling changes to be made to generate better results. Example whether treatment A is better than treatment B.

While doing research or writing a research article it is very important to gather information from reliable sources. One of the example is Google Scholar. This website will provide with research articles written by scholars and authors who are highly qualified and an expert in their fields. The research articles can be filtered and a variety of research ranging from old to new can be viewed in Google Scholar. Another credible source of information is the Government (.gov) sites, which provide authentic information and there is no question to doubt their credibility (Norgeot, Glicksberg & Butte, 2019). Another source is the newspaper articles and magazines that provides core information true to its content and provides information about the cu
ent events and latest happenings.

Evidence-based practices consist of a systematic and patient based approach to healthcare and require integration of three factors that are necessary to make medical decisions.
i. The best external evidence,
ii. The patient’s preference,
iii. The individual practitioner’s clinical expertise.
The first step identifies patient’s problems by diagnosing the illness based on the physician’s experience and knowledge. The second step involves preferences of the patient’s, their concerns and expectations during the treatment. The practitioner’s clinical expertise consists of the overall experience and skills of the doctor involved in treatment.

John Hopkins Nursing evidence-based practice model is a simplified EBP process that allows for rapid and appropriate application of methodological process and clinical practices. The process is based on the evidence, translation and questionnaires. Iowa model for evidence-based practice to promote Quality care is another example of EBP model and it involves initiation by a ‘trigger’ that will recognize clinical problems and generates feedbacks while implementing any changes in the treatment plan (Ward, Baloh, Zhu & Stewart, 2017). It is a multiphase system that indulges in patient care at all levels of clinical practice. Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health services (PARIHS) framework refers to practice innovation methodology and successful implementation of the types of available evidence, care setting context and the facilitation of the entire process.

iefly describe the ACE Star Model of Knowledge Transformation.
The ACE star model of knowledge transformation is based on the five principles that include discovery, evidence summary, translation, integration and evaluation. The discovery includes inclusion of new knowledge that forms the basis of the research project. Evidence summary consists of a summary of conclusions that can be drawn based on the evidences that in turn results in the generation of a higher level of knowledge base. Translation depends on the evidence summary and consists of developing clinical practice rules and guidelines, clinical protocols and procedures (Garcia, 2020). The fourth star shows integration where clinical guidelines are implemented and changes or amendments are made simultaneously for guidelines implementation. The fifth and last principle of knowledge transformation consists of evaluation where QA and PI processes are used to supervise and monitor for the expected outcomes and results.
