To bring up a toddler is a herculean task for the parents. They have to spend several sleepless nights to make the child stand on the feet. Every stepping stone achieved by them is a thing of enjoyment for them. The struggle does not stop for parents until he/she becomes the gentleman or dignified woman and a responsible citizen (The Growing Child, 2002).
In the journey of growing up of a child, many people come into contact who contributes towards the development of the child and prepare him to join the school. The child of age 4 to  5 years needs a lot of attention in physical as well as mental development in preschool. The child of this age throws a lot of tantrums and wants himself to be adored and pampered all the time. Apart from parent’s involvement, the role of teachers is also very important. 
Speech development is an important area which the continuously in the learning stage.
