My Opinion on Excluding Racial Categories from Arrest and Victimization Statistics
I feel it should not be excluded because it creates a biased perspective about races. The racial disparities, which is deep rooted in the system since ages is activated every time such reporting, is highlighted. The disproportionate contact and differential involvement are overrepresented, because of which the normalization is not being achieved (English et al., 2020). It portrays one sections as the sufferer and the other section as a suppressor.
